Overview

The Universal Carrier was a small, lightly armoured tracked vehicle used in vast numbers by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II. Its versatility was legendary, and it was adapted for a huge range of roles, including as a troop transport, a mobile machine gun post, and a reconnaissance vehicle, serving in every theatre of the war.
