The two textured plates offer different cooking options and can be easily removed for cleaning. Each plate is controlled by its own temperature control, so one or both plates can be in use at the same time. The anti-splatter baffle plate is easily clipped onto the plates to reduce messy food and oil splashes and the removeable drip tray easily catches excess oil for healthier cooking results.
